The Animals Book Series

Another great challenge I was happy to take on!

In these books, the outline of the main characters on each page of the spread had to be the same as they were embossed in the final book. For that reason, the outline also had to be as simple as possible. My challenge was to make both animals different and interesting inside that outline. I also used the background to bring as much interest and diversity to the pages as possible.

We created 6 books with different habitats (Farm, Forest, Wild, Garden, Mountain, and Jungle). For each of the books, I illustrated 4 different animals in their natural habitat.
